The Shore is based on a true event. One summer on the East Coast Dionysius went to a surfing spot where a Lifeguard told him about a Young Mother and her child who came to the beach for the day. The Young Mother never saw her daughter again. This story stayed with the director. When he discovered the poem by Odysseus Elytis he wrote the script THE SHORE and two other projects making THE SHORE the first part of a trilogy. ROCK POINT the second part of the trilogy is currently in pre-production and casting in Los Angeles.
